KANSAS CITY, MO – The Kansas City Fire Department was called to a crash at a business on Oak Street on Monday afternoon, according to the Kansas City Star.
The incident took place at the Chartreuse Saloon in the city’s Crossroads Arts District. First responders arrived at about 4 p.m. to find that a vehicle had crashed through the bar’s first-floor window after the driver had a medical emergency.
The driver was taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries and to be evaluated for a medical issue. The person was listed in stable condition.
The building, in the 1600 block of Oak Street, was damaged in the accident but the damage was not deemed as structural.
