JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A driver was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Johnson County on Monday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The MSHP’s crash report stated that 23-year-old Sirenity M. Laredo of Chilhowee, Missouri was driving a 2008 Jeep Patriot west on State Route F when the incident happened at about 9:43 a.m.
State troopers said Laredo failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway west of SW 1000th Road. The Jeep went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Laredo, who was wearing a seat belt, was seriously injured and transported to Research Medical Center. The vehicle was totaled and towed away from the scene.
