KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcycle and a motorized scooter were involved in a fatal collision in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday night, according to KCTV.
The crash took place in the area of Northeast 45th Terrace and North Lister Avenue. Investigators said the driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was headed east on NE 45th Terrace when he came over a hill and spotted the scooter in the middle of the road.
When the motorcycle attempted a maneuver to avoid the scooter, he was ejected from the bike, which then struck the scooter. The woman who was riding the scooter was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 11:14 p.m.
The motorcyclist suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
