SALINE COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a truck accident in Saline County on Friday morning.
The MSHP’s crash report states that the incident occurred on Interstate 70 westbound at the 70 mile marker.
The driver of a 2019 Freightliner went off the right side of the roadway, where the truck struck a sign and a guardrail and then overturned.
The driver, a 56-year-old man from Stockbridge, Georgia, was seriously injured and was transported by EMS to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment. The Freightliner was totaled and towed away from the scene.
