RIVERSIDE, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was at the scene of a crash that disrupted traffic in the Northland on Wednesday, KSHB reports.
The MSHP and the Riverside Fire Department responded following a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 635 near Horizons Parkway. It was reported as a serious-injury crash, though no details were immediately available on who was injured, or what led to the incident.
I-635 was shut down in both directions from about the Missouri-Kansas state line east to Interstate 29/US 69, according to the report. Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area.
