News: Sedalia man killed in 2-car crash on US 65 in Pettis County

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal rollover car accident in Pettis County last week.

 

The MSHP reported that the incident that occurred on northbound U.S. 65 at Anderson School Road Thursday at about 3:43 p.m. According to investigators, 63-year-old Victor Yuzkov of Sedalia was driving a 2013 Nissan when he attempted to cross the northbound lanes of U.S. 65 and entered the path of a 2017 Ford Edge driven by 77-year-old Sharon McDonald of Raytown.

 

The Nissan rolled over into the median and came to rest on its top, while the Ford went into the median and came to rest upright.

 

Yuzkov was pronounced dead at the scene. McDonald and her passenger, 69-year-old Karen Hull of Raytown, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia.
