News: Rollover accident on US 65 leaves 1 woman dead, 2 seriously injured

SALINE COUNTY, MO – One person was killed and two others injured in a rollover accident in Saline County on Friday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

 

According to the MSHP’s crash report, the driver of a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica was headed north on US 65 shortly after 3 p.m. and ran off the roadway north of Route UU.

 

The van then struck a field entrance and overturned.  A passenger in the vehicle, 86-year-old Carolyn J. Maberry of Dawn, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver, 68-year-old Connie J. Maberry of Dawn, and another passenger, 74-year-old Mary F. Rounkles of Tina, Missouri, were seriously injured and flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
