News: Rollover accident on State Route U in Pettis County leaves 2 injured

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a rollover crash in Pettis County last week in which two people were injured.

 

It happened March 11 along State Route U just south of Smasal Road, according to the MSHP’s accident log.

 

State troopers said the driver of a 2023 Toyota Tacoma was going northbound at 8:30 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned.

 

The driver, 40-year-old Ella Benkazarova, and a passenger, 39-year-old Benjamin Adams, both suffered moderate injuries in the accident and were transported to Bothwell Hospital for treatment. Neither person was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the MSHP said.
