KANSAS CITY, MO – Police said a woman who died in a crash in Kansas City last week has now been identified, reports WDAF.

The victim was 38-year-old Erika Miller, according to the Kansas City Police Department. Miller was a passenger in a Z-Trip vehicle that was struck by a Dodge Caliber March 23 in the area of Truman Road and Prospect Avenue.
Police said the Dodge Caliber had been involved in a carjacking and the driver was being pursued by police officers. The driver went through a red light and collided with the Z-Trip vehicle as it was stopped while waiting to make a left turn.
Miller was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Two male juveniles in the suspect vehicle were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition. The 17-year-old boy driving the Dodge Caliber was taken into police custody.
