GRANDVIEW, MO – Police in Grandview said that a pedestrian was killed in an accident on Wednesday morning, KCTV reported.
Police responded to the scene in the 12100 of Blue Ridge Extension at about 9 a.m. and found a man on the side of the road who had been struck by a vehicle.
First responders arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released. Police said the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Reconstruction Team was investigating the incident.
