News: Overland Park man dies in motorcycle accident on Missouri 2

CASS COUNTY, MO – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Cass County late Sunday night, state troopers said.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s accident report identified the victim as 33-year-old Joshua T. Riley of Overland Park, Kansas.

 

According to the MSHP, Riley was driving a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Missouri 2 near 271st Road at about 11:30 p.m.

 

The motorcycle travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. Riley was thrown from the bike and collided with a metal sign. The motorcycle went airborne, hit the ground and continued onto the grass. Riley was pronounced dead at the scene.
