KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcycle and a pickup truck were involved in a fatal collision at an intersection in Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday night, KCTV reported.
According to police, the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup was making a turn from Blue Ridge Boulevard onto 99th Street shortly after 5:30 p.m. The operator of a Honda CBR motorcycle was going at a very high rate of speed while going south on Blue Ridge Boulevard and collided with the Ford, investigators said.
The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford and four juvenile passengers were not injured in the incident.
