KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcycle accident in Kansas City early Tuesday morning left two people critically injured, police said.
A report by WDAF states that a man driving a motorcycle north on 71 Highway drove off the right side of Gregory Boulevard at about 1:20 a.m.
Investigators said the motorcycle struck a curb on a concrete island, then struck the base of a traffic light pole, and continued on and collided with another curb.
The driver and a woman passenger were ejected from the bike. The driver suffered what were reported as life-threatening injuries and the passenger was critically injured. Police are trying to determine whether impairment was a contributing factor in the incident.
