News: Man dies from injuries suffered in Kansas City collision

KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police said one of the drivers involved in a collision last month has now passed away, WDAF reports.

 

The victim of the Feb. 25 crash was identified as 82-year-old Wilbur Douglas of Kansas City.  According to investigators, Douglas was driving a Toyota Corolla when he went through a red light at the intersection of Troost Avenue and E. Meyer Boulevard.  The Toyota collided with a Honda Civic.

 

Douglas was taken to an area hospital, and was pronounced dead from his injuries late Saturday night.  The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries.
