News: Man dies after motorcycle runs off roadway in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, MO – A motorcyclist died following an accident in Cass County Tuesday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

 

The MSHP’s accident report said the accident took place on 211th Street west of Route J at 6:49 p.m. According to state troopers, a man was driving a 2020 Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra southbound on Route J and was making a right turn on 211th Street.

 

The vehicle overturned and ran off the left side of the roadway. The driver, 62-year-old Lewis Laughlin of Sedalia, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Peculiar Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
