LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released details of a deadly crash that occurred on Interstate 470 in Jackson County early Monday morning.
The victim was identified by the MSHP as 42-year-old Lee Logsdon of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
According to state troopers, Logsdon was driving a 2007 Mercury Milan when he failed to negotiate a curve on the northbound I-470 exit ramp to NE Woods Chapel Road at about 12:15 a.m.
The vehicle overturned and Logsdon, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car before it came to a stop.
He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
