LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – Two drivers were hospitalized after their vehicles collided in Lafayette County on Tuesday morning, state troopers said.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened on MO-13 north of Route FF at about 6:50 a.m. The MSHP said the driver of a 2018 Ford crossed into the path of a 2017 Honda and the vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the Ford, 43-year-old Mary Jones of Lexington, Missouri, and the driver of the Honda, 23-year-old Bradley Coffey of Centerview, Missouri, were both seriously injured and were taken by air EMS to Truman Medical Center.
Higginsville police and the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash scene.
