HENRY COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said one person was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Henry County early Sunday morning.
The MSHP’s crash report said the incident occurred on Missouri 7 east of NE 681 Road at about 1:50 a.m.
According to the investigation, the driver of a 2008 smart car was headed west and crossed the center of the roadway into the path of a 2008 Ford Expedition, causing a head-on collision. After the impact, both vehicles traveled off the south side of the roadway and came to rest.
The driver of the smart car, 34-year-old Kristopher Wilson of Warrensburg, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Ford, 38-year-old Carly Milam, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s on the Plaza. The driver, 70-year-old Jeffrey Milam, was taken to Golden Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Both occupants of the Ford are residents of Warsaw, Missouri.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed away from the scene.
