News: Driver killed when car crashes into truck on Highway AA

BATES COUNTY, MO – A driver died after his vehicle was involved in a collision in Bates County on Monday afternoon, state troopers said.

 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s accident log, 42-year-old Tony Radford was driving a 1993 GMC northbound at about 3:30 p.m. when he failed to stop at the intersection of Highway AA and 6001 Road. The car crashed into the back of a 1988 Mack truck that had slowed down to stop.

 

Radford, a resident of Butler, Missouri, was taken to Cass Regional Hospital and pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred, the MSHP said. No other injuries were reported.
