News: Driver injured in pickup truck crash at Hardesty Ave and 19th Street

KANSAS CITY, MO – Police are investigating the cause of a pickup truck accident in Kansas City that left a driver hospitalized, reports KCTV.

 

Kansas City police released details of the incident, which occurred Thursday on Hardesty Drive near 19th Street shortly after 12:30 p.m.

 

Investigators said the driver of a Ford F-150 was headed south and drove up a curb on the west side of the roadway.

 

The pickup collided with a fire hydrant and a light pole, then sheared off an electrical pole and overturned. The driver was reported to have sustained critical injuries, but was listed in stable condition after being transported to an area hospital.
