CASS COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Cass County Sheriff’s Department were at the scene of a fatal car crash on Saturday night.
The incident occurred on southbound Route D south of 241st Street, according to the MSHP.
State troopers said the driver of a 2018 Kia Stinger lost control of the vehicle, travelled off the roadway, struck a fence and then a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as 56-year-old Courtnard Wilson of Cleveland, Missouri. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the MSHP said.
