News: Driver critically injured when vehicles collide on Holmes Road

KANSAS CITY, MO – A two-car accident in Kansas City Friday morning left one of the drivers critically injured, according to a report by WDAF.

 

Police responded to the scene near the intersection of Holmes Road and East 92nd Street. Investigators said the driver of a Chevrolet HHR changed lanes while headed south in the first lane of Holmes Road and struck the front of a Honda Civic that was traveling in the second lane.

 

The Chevrolet then veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. The driver suffered what were reported as critical injuries and was listed in serious condition at the hospital. The Honda driver was not hurt in the wreck, which is currently under investigation.
