News: Crash on Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City kills 1, injures 3

KANSAS CITY, MO – One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Kansas City, Missouri on Wednesday night, police said.

 

According to KSHB, the accident took place in the area of Southwest Boulevard and Madison Avenue.

 

An investigation found that the driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control of the car while headed east on Southwest Boulevard, drove off the roadway and crashed. The driver, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car was hospitalized in critical condition while two other passengers were in serious condition.

 

The cause of the fatal wreck remains under investigation by Kansas City police.
