JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A crash in Johnson County on Wednesday afternoon sent three people to the hospital, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
State troopers from Troop A were called to the scene on Missouri 13 south of Route JJ shortly before 4:30 p.m.
According to the MSHP, the driver of a 2013 Dodge Caravan was headed southbound when the vehicle travelled into the path of a 1999 Ford F-250. The Dodge began to skid, went off the left side of the roadway, and came to final rest facing northwest. The Ford went off the right side of the roadway, hit an embankment, and came to rest facing north.
The driver of the Ford, 60-year-old Lance Tucker, his passenger, 22-year-old Kayley Tucker, and a passenger in the Dodge, 22-year-old Kayley Rucker, were all seriously injured and transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. All are residents of Warrensburg, Missouri.
