News: Accident near Missouri 10 in Ray County leaves 3 injured

RAY COUNTY, MO – Three people were injured in a collision in Ray County on Sunday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 

The MSHP’s accident report said that the crash occurred on Shoemaker Road south of Missouri 10 at about 9 a.m.

 

State troopers said the driver of a 2020 Ford F-550 was heading southbound crossing the intersection. The driver of a Ford F-150 was going east on Missouri 10 and swerved to avoid the first vehicle, which struck the Ford F-150 on the driver’s side.

 

Both vehicles went off the southeast corner of the intersection. The Ford F-150 rolled and came to rest on a tree on its driver’s side. The other vehicle came to rest in a ditch with its towed unit still in the roadway.

 

The driver of F-150, 43-year-old Nathan Conyers, and his passenger, 43-year-old Susan Conyers, suffered moderate injuries. The two, both residents of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, were transported by EMS to Liberty Hospital. The driver of the F-550, 90-year-old Robert Reynolds of Excelsior Springs, sustained minor injuries.
