PLATTE COUNTY, MO – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on a Platte County highway ramp Tuesday evening, state troopers said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report said the incident happened on eastbound Missouri 152 on the ramp to northbound Interstate 435.
An investigation indicated that 75-year-old Lynn Eyer was operating a 2010 Honda motorcycle at about 5:30 p.m. and was changing lanes to exit onto I-435 when he fell off the bike.
Eyer, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was transported to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment. The motorcycle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
