CASS COUNTY, MO – Three people were injured when a car crashed into a van in Cass County on Thursday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened on Missouri 291 south of Cottage Lane at about 2:30 p.m., according to the MSHP’s crash report.
State troopers said the driver of a southbound 2008 Nissan Altima overtook and struck the rear of a 2020 Ford Transit van that was stopped for traffic.
The driver of the Nissan, 59-year-old Joy Aman of Harrisonville, Missouri, was transported to St. Luke’s East with moderate injuries. The driver of the Ford, 26-year-old Danielle Dalton of Harrisonville, Missouri, and her passenger, 29-year-old Victoria Bartles of Raymore, Missouri, both sustained minor injuries and were taken to Cass Regional Medical Center. All three injured victims were wearing their seat belts, state troopers said.
