LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that three people were injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Lafayette County on Tuesday night.
Troopers responded to the scene in the area of Highway V and Highway AA at about 8:53 p.m., according to details released by the MSHP.
The driver of a 2012 Ford Fusion was heading south when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a traffic sign and overturned.
The driver and one passenger, both 19-year-old women, and another passenger, a 1-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries. The three, all residents of Higginsville, Missouri, were taken by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center. All were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
