News: 2 women and 9-year-old boy injured in I-70 rollover accident

SALINE COUNTY, MO – A rollover accident in Saline County early Wednesday morning sent three people to the hospital, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

It happened at 1:55 a.m. on Interstate 70 eastbound west of mile marker 76.  The MSHP said that the driver of a 2022 Honda Odyssey travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver, 58-year-old Donna E. Strickland, and two passengers, 42-year-old LaDonna McCullough and a 9-year-old boy, all sustained moderate injuries.

The three, all residents of Kansas City, Missouri, were transported by EMS to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.  All three were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, state troopers said.  The car was totaled and towed from the scene.
