News: 2 drivers injured in multi-vehicle crash at I-35 and North Brighton Ave.

CLAY COUNTY, MO – Two drivers were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Clay County on Monday afternoon, state troopers said.

 

The Missouri Highway Patrol’s accident log stated that the incident happened at Interstate 35 northbound and North Brighton Avenue at about 12:10 p.m.

 

According to the MSHP, a 2006 Jeep Liberty and a 2022 Freightliner were both stopped for traffic when a 2001 Ford Expedition struck the Freightliner, causing it to then hit the Jeep.

 

The driver of the Ford, 36-year-old Nichole Miller, and the driver of the Jeep, 51-year-old Pamela Reimers, were treated for minor injuries. Both women are from Kansas City, Missouri.
