KANSAS CITY, MO – First responders rushed to the scene of a Kansas City creek early Sunday morning after a vehicle went into the water, KSHB reports.
Officials said the vehicle plunged into Brush Creek following a traffic collision in the area of Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard and Woodland Avenue.
The Kansas City Fire Department arrived shortly after 2 a.m. and pulled the vehicle from the creek. One person was seriously injured in the wreck and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No further details were released on what caused the collision.
